Dr. Hartmann has developed a seminar discussing the importance of defining mobility therefore making it more achievable. Then discussing when is there a mobility issue present vs a stability/motor control/strength issue present, then using some functional movements to explore the point. In addition to the seminar Dr. Hartmann will be taking (on a first come, first serve basis) 4 to 5 appointments for one-on-one consultations for 1 hour each. Consultations will start at 12pm and go on the hour until 5pm. Consultation cost is $80 cash at the time of consultation.
Dr. Luke Hartmann, PT, DPT, CSCS started StayUnbroken in 2012 to provide aspiring and competitive athletes with the highest level of orthopedic assessment and care, both injury management and prevention, and ultimately facilitate proper mobility in order to maximize human performance.
In the last few decades of fitness, strength and endurance training, and sport there has been one key variable to sustainable operation of the human machine that continues to be overlooked, moving properly. Luke is able to blend sports medicine doctoral study of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and proper nutrition to enable local athletes to achieve increased work efficiency and economy of movement to produce sustainable fitness.
Crossfit is an amazing fitness medium and has been a crucial tool for reshaping our cultures wellness and performance paradigm. However, to put it very simply, the body must move correctly before it moves high load at high speed for time.
